When God Says ‘I Will Meet You’ In The Process

When God Says

Life is filled with lessons and growth when we go through a process. During the processes of life, some of us may grow weary, feel impatient or get discouraged. We believe God will come through in our lives through faith, but what happens when the situation looks NOTHING like it’s supposed to?

Faith can be a hard thing to walk through.

How do you have faith when everything around you looks and feels opposite from what you desire? When the outcome doesn’t seem to have the power you hoped for in a difficult process? How do you stay encouraged when God works everything together for good in Romans 8:28, but that’s hard to see?

I had gotten to a point earlier this year where I was broken, defeated and discouraged. Since I am a writer it’s easiest for me to express myself through prayer, journaling and poetry. As I got up from crying I began to write a poem titled “I Will Meet You.”  This poem changed my writing style, and it changed my outlook on my circumstances.

During this process and through God’s word, I began to find comfort in Him in a new way. Even as I recorded this video, I sat in need of God’s comfort through a process, and he met me.

I pray that this poem encourages you that wherever you may be in life, whatever process you may be going through, whatever test of faith you are faced with, and whatever vision you are trying to live out … that God will meet you.

“I Will Meet You” is an original piece created for Single Matters.
